Grenzgänge der Gemeinschaft

In light of the high-profile resurgence of debates on the issues of community and coexistence, this volume is an interdisciplinary exploration moving between socio-philosophical and theological-ecclesiological positions. The collected contributions present a critical-deconstructive view of communal existence which is motivated by critiques of metaphysics and anti-substantialist approaches. They thus aim at a highly promising result, the liberation of a common ground which enables the practice of an ethical-political and theological-ecclesiological epoché. In this way, a growth in radical self-openness, malleability and also the capacity for critique can be conveyed into diverse institutional areas such as society, politics, religion, and the law.
